I think there was a rumor or explanation that Megatron's virus was derived from Nucleon, the substance that altered and poisoned many a Transformer and made Grimlock into an Action master in the old G1 comic.

Beast Machines had too many unexplained things.



I haven't heard that one. Was that from "Alignment?" The official-unofficial fanfiction link between TF G1 and Beast Wars?
