Did you read this book? If you didn't and still haven't, I highly recommend it, above all other DC books. Nothing DC has ever published was better than this. Not in the superhero genre.

Absolutely agree. Wolfman and Perez hit all the right notes for me.

Great stories, great art. They managed a perfect balancing act between moving the characters forward, while nodding to DC's past (Red Star, Doom Patrol).

They created great new characters (Cyborg, Raven, Starfire).

They gave us some of the best villains of the 1980's (Deathstroke, Trigon, Brother Blood).

And they gave us some of the best single-issue stories in comics (A Day in the Life, Who is Donna Troy, We Are Gathered Here Today...).

Best book on the stands in it's day.
