It's almost like the PM gave her the powers her dumb ass thought the Kree possessed but they never actually did \:\)

Back then, she knew next to nothing about the Kree. \:\-\)

Also, in the beginning, it was not explained why her costume had powers of its own (flight & force field) and where did the costume go when it disappeared (logically, to the Negative Zone or the Quantum Zone but it was never confirmed).

After the 2nd exposure to the Psyche-Magnitron's Power Core unit, the costume lost most of his abilities.
So, the origin of the costume was never given to the reader.
The costume was probably another gift of the 1st exposure to the Psyche-Magnitron.

Actually, it would be very easy to retcon nearly everything that we think we know about Carol Danvers ... because she lost her memories more than once.

Also, her background involves artefacts which can bend spacetime (both the Psyche-Magnitron and the Cavourite Crystals) and she could tap in the power of a white hole (thus, another concept linked to spacetime theories).

It would also explain why Marcus, a spacetime anomaly himself, abused her (although everybody might prefer to forget this awful story).

    Quote:
Like to me while the Kree are a little bit stronger than humans clearly Carol has way more strength than a typical Kree warrior. And the Kree can't fly.

Yes, I totally agree. I don't think that the average Kree soldier can do what she can do (see the picture below).

BTW, I've just noticed that Carol Danvers borrowed traits from yet another Marvel person ...
