Best Male: Howard Stern (yes best)

Best Female: Mariah. Sorry for Whitney, but her star had faded, and she really didn't do much for most of the decade. Mariah was a beast in the 90s with 7 albums selling nearly 50 million copies combined.

A strong case could probably be made for Oprah, but I chose Mariah over her because Oprah's empire began strongly in the 80s. I think by the 90s, it was inertia that pushed Oprah further upwards.

Worst Male: I think it's hard to compete with OJ. Right?

Worst Female: Tanya Harding.

Great picks for worst. Two of the biggest stories from the 90s. I wasn’t thinking in that direction.
