While I'm sure there were some revivals from stasis lock, for characters like Prowl (who burned from the inside out), Ironhide (who took many blasts then Megatron's cannon right in the face), and Optimus who merged with the Matrix and his body turned dull gray, there was no coming back.

Also in the 5 million years prior to crashing on Earth, I find it hard to believe that neither Prime, Magnus, nor anyone else ever had a chance to permanently shut down Megatron.

Optimus' compassion is great and all, but after 5 million years before crashing on Earth, perhaps a reassessment of his leadership tactics is in order.
