Thuggernaut's thread directly below was the inspiration for our new banner.

Will you miss Luke Perry? Were you a fan of his 90210 performances? What of his later work in the 90s?

I remember my sister (six years younger than me) was a big Luke Perry fan. I think a sizable percentage of girls her age back then probably were. Luke Perry graced the covers of many a teen magazine.

Here's his Wikipedia article:

I had forgotten he was in the original Buffy movie.

He did some fun voice work in animation - notably, Rick Jones in The Incredible Hulk.

I liked him.

I often thought he should have starred in a movie about James Dean. Maybe people thought that was too obvious. But I think it would have been great.

He's not a celeb I will "miss," per se.

I liked him in 90210, but I was too old for it.
He was good in Oz.
I liked Jeremiah and thought he was good in it.

After that... nothing really.

I don't really care about Riverdale and didn't even know he was in it until his stroke.

But way too young. I'm a bit older than him.
And I've found myself thinking about his kids, who now have no mom or dad.

I might bring out Biker Mice From Mars for a bit.

City of Heroes is BACK!
