I guess I only remember him from Wrestlemania 1 and 2, and he got overshadowed by bigger big men like Andre the Giant. I thought he had a unique look, with a neck as thick as his head, and a good name for the business.

I remember his name but not his face nor any of his story lines (if they had story lines back then). Looking at him now, though, I have to say, his name fits him beautifully. I can easily see him as a gorilla.

I imagine his opponents had some difficulty lifting him from the mat. Did any of them try? Probably. The sheer strength of these men has always impressed me. I watched wrestling for the bravado and the feats of strength. Also my younger daughter liked it, so it gave us something to share.

Too many cool figures from our younger days are passing.

If Hulk could body slam Andre the Giant (albeit somewhat sloppily) he could lift and slam Bundy. According to Wikipedia, he did so in their steel cage match at Wrestlemania 2. Most matches with big men usually had their weaker opponent try and fail to lift them or their strong opponent succeed in doing so.
