Did he demand that he had to pin his opponent for 5 seconds, because he was good enough to do so? I never heard of that gimmick.

Yup that was his gimmick. He’d slaughter some poor schlub. Then when he’d pin him, the ref would count three and Bundy would yell “Five!” and wouldn’t get up until the ref counted 2 more.

I thought S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones was more of a permanent jobber, like the Brooklyn Brawler. But I never really saw him.

Jones won very rarely but I thought he was great. He had great charisma and pretty good moves but, in the end, he’d get tripped or poked in the eye, and lose. Of course, this was when I first started watching wrestling (I still call it the WWF. I stopped watching regularly before it became the WWE) and liked the good guys more than the bad guys.

One of my favorite matches from childhood was a tag team match with George the Animal Steele and Killer Khan vs S.D. Jones and Curt Hennig. It was a brutal beating for the good guys.
