By the way, we had technical difficulties for a few days that were preventing a banner update. Fortunately - whether by supernatural or technological might, I can't say for certain - the archangel Jason has triumphed once again over evil.

As for the play - I saw it on Broadway with my daughters when they were little. There was some sort of problem with the sound system or the building acoustics that made some of the song lyrics unclear to my ears, but the pageantry held us spellbound for most of the performance.

I always felt the play could easily and effectively have been adapted to a Batman by Gaslight story.

Did you see it? Did you see any other musical theater productions that have stayed with you over the decades?

I saw it years ago (must have been in 1995) when it came through New Orleans.

Annie (pretty sure it was the early 80s) - crushed a bit on Andrea McArdle (the first Annie) in 1977 and was bitten by the theatre bug for a while
Peter Pan (Cathy Rigby/80s)
Cats (3 times)
Evita
The Wiz (Stephanie Mills/90s)

Sadly, I've never seen either Sound of Music or Grease. There are a few others I'd like to see but haven't.
