I always thought of Harry Canyon when watching Fifth Element. Like I said elsewhere, at least on the DVD version of Fifth Element that I own, there is a feature about Metal Hurlant magazine and how it inspired Luc Besson.

I think a large part of what helps B-17 is also Bernstein's score.


Have you perchance watched the South Park episode based on the Heavy Metal movie? It is humorous and one of my favorites. Another is their Night Of The Living Homeless.
