I'm totally cool with the focus on Teela. I've always considered Adam/He-Man to be a joke of a character. Plus, even the original series hinted very strongly that she was destined to be greater than Adam.

However, one of my biggest pet peeves in fiction is when characters throw hissy fits about not being included in a secret, especially when it comes to secret identities. It really rubbed me wrong when she cursed out everyone (as much as one can in a kid's cartoon). She wasn't just turning her back on her royal family, but the people of her world. I just cannot see the Teela I remember doing that. It just seems like pointless fake drama.

Aaand... well, I don't really want Adam back. That last part where they leave "heaven" doesn't sit well with me. And I don't understand why Adam couldn't ever get back to heaven if he leaves. If he dies again, what happens? Hell? Nothing?

And that last scene really started pissing me off, as everybody just stood around as Skeletor reasserted himself. Of course, He-Man was never the place for anything but "plot stupidity." But c'mon people!

Also, it's a minor thing, but I didn't really like the redesign for normal Adam. I don't like there being much physical difference between Adam and He-Man.

The redesign of Adam might be a nod to the 2003 He-man series where he was 16 when he got the sword. Basically Billy Batson/Shazam differential in appearance.

The original and 2003 series both state Teela is the Daughter of the Sorceress, and the original did state Teela was to one day replace the Sorceress when her time came.

As to Adam not getting back into Heaven again, that is just drama. While it is not natural for someone to leave and return to life, Adam felt he had unfinished business, and damage to repair. There was no time to find a new champion for Eternia.

As to Teela, I think she was more upset that Adam was gone, rather then not knowing the big secret, and that she perhaps discovered in that moment that she may have loved Adam
