Previous Post

The original and 2003 series both state Teela is the Daughter of the Sorceress, and the original did state Teela was to one day replace the Sorceress when her time came.

Right. Frankly, she was destined to replace the Sorceress, and yet she had better fighting ability than Adam. Her with the sword would be more awesome than anything, even She-Ra.

As to Adam not getting back into Heaven again, that is just drama. While it is not natural for someone to leave and return to life, Adam felt he had unfinished business, and damage to repair. There was no time to find a new champion for Eternia.

That doesn't seem to be what I'm talking about. The previous heroes of Eternia told him that if he left heaven, he wouldn't be allowed back in.

As to Teela, I think she was more upset that Adam was gone, rather then not knowing the big secret, and that she perhaps discovered in that moment that she may have loved Adam

That makes me understand her reaction less. She kept going on and on about everybody keeping the secret and how she hates anything having to do with magic. Blahblahblah.

Well the previous heroes could be wrong, or perhaps the forces of Heaven will understand why Adam left and agree that he can return.

Eternia and the universe were in peril without magic.

Adam's family was aggrieved over his demise

No new champion had arisen, except maybe for Teela.

So he had to go back.

Teela claiming the power would be better then She-Ra ever was in my opinion. Never did like She-Ra that much.

Well the fewer that knew the secret the better. Adam's mother did the math and figured it out but didn't say a thing, which honestly I can understand Randor's fury about that. Teela however was shown in the 2003 series as not having the training to keep her mind from being read and I think that was the case in the original series.

As to her hate of magic, well the constant war with Skeletor over Grayskull, Eternia losing magic and falling into ruin, the loss of Adam/He-man.....her likely feelings for Adam....yeah she is confused and looking for things to blame.
