Since you referenced the Stern/Byrne Dragon Man story in Cap, you might recall that Dragon Man was vulnerable to sonics there; it's how Machinesmith controlled him in those stories.

The vulnerability was established by Gerry Conway in Fantastic Four v.1 #134-5.

You're right, of course!

Guess it only fair that I forgive Cap forgetting the details as well. ;\) Without digging out my ish or Googling, I vaguely remember the 3 (or4?) tiny spheres hovering around DM 'controlling' him. What I fondly remember is Cap's predicament with his shield wedged in the ledge out of reach and him, in the crushing grip of DM with no utility belt gimmicks to save him. His resourceful guantlet slap seemed perfect escape strategy and his bravery to ride along (via clothesline?) as DM flew off was an inspiring memory, IIRC.

Thanks Omar.
