Previous Post I don't think I'm going to get it. I know I'll be picking up "Brand New Day" (some of my favorite writers are working on that revamp), but I'm still not sold on "One More Day". I guess it's because Spidey's been put through the wringer so many times lately, and we've been told to buy all these mini-events and they've been absolutely bad. The Other was shockingly bad (except for Peter David's parts). Back in Black (in Amazing) was pointless and anticlimactic, and made my childhood hero a complete nutcase. Will OMD be any better? Especially because it's by the same guy who did the aforementioned "events"? So...what about the rest of youse? Captain Nas-Vell!

I'll get it, but I'm not going to be rushing to the store with baited breath. For example, this upcoming week I won't be picking up the first chapter. I'll get it eventually and will probably be completely spoiled by the time I do get it, but I have a budget and some titles I have to put off, usually the ones I'm indifferent to. Amazing certainly qualifies there.



I've already heard that there are delays. I'm not shocked as Quesada + any project = delay. The Sensational and FNSM chapters I'm getting just so I can complete my runs on both of those titles. So I might as well get the whole thing.



I'll give each creative team that is participating in "Brand New Day" one arc to impress me, then pick and choose from there.



As you mentioned, all the "events" have worn me down and made me pessimistic. I enjoyed both Sensational and FNSM, but they are getting the axe. I'll be happy if Brand New Day breathes new life into the character, but at this point I'm a bit cynical, despite the quality of some of the creative teams.
