It's a bit weird how he was able to slap Peter around like that. In general, I think Conway wrote Spider-Man as a lot less powerful than he's considered today. I remember a book, a team-up with the Punisher, where Spider-Man was knocked out by a simple lead pipe to the head, wielded by an ordinary thug. -Comp | |||||||
