> Second (filler) 11 pages of background. Nothing new there as far as I can tell. Anyone who reads the book regularly knows this stuff and it's already been printed in the Marvel handbook to Spiderman. All that stuff is the reason for the $3.99 price.
There are a lot of people who don't pick up the Handbooks or the Essentials, haven't read Spidey since the 60s..or the 70s..or the 80s..or the 90s! and don't know his whole story. This Handbook profile was the most complete Spider-Man profile ever written since the days of the Original and Deluxe Editions to the present. It combines elements from the Spider-Man 2004 Handbook, 2005 and 2007 Updates, Legacy 1960s, 1980s, and 1990s Handbooks, plus some new stuff filled in-between and at the end. I didn't have access to the actual story itself (Marvel is keeping it very Top Secret), so I missed "Peter Morgan" as an alias.
I apologize to the Spider-Community for screwing up in the last paragraph, writing "in a run-down motel" twice. I thought I forgot to add in his current "home", inserted it redundantly at the last minute in my final proof, and didn't see I had already written it right in front of my face!

I thought it was awesome and well worth the extra price. Fine job.
