Its a quick "get rich" scheme, just like Peter tried in the earliest days of his career. Oh, I get that. The thing is that – the wrestling aside – most of Peter’s early attempts to make money with his abilities (like trying to join the F4 and the NYPD as Spider-Man or selling photos of himself to the Bugle) were so that he could help his Aunt pay her bills. Come to think of it, wasn’t he trying to pay May’s medical bills the first time he tried to sell his webbing? Wanting to be rich isn't quite the same as wanting to not have to worry about rent* or where your next meal is coming from. *Thank god MJ is better with money (well, up until Millar) or the Parkers would all be out on the street. | |||||||
