No. Their relationship still happened pretty much the same (meaning they still lived together, etc.) but they never signed the little legal document that says they were married. Why? We don't know. All it's been said is that something happened on their wedding day that kept them from doing it.

This is impossible, given that MJ has forgotten that she ever knew Peter was Spidey, and Peter somehow thinks that MJ never knew when they were together. What they remember about their relationship is necessarily radically different from what was portrayed in the comics.
