Why would he think it would get cancelled if the whole reason they got an Amazing Spider-Man was the popularity of Amazing Fantasy 15?

I mean the average age of the comic reader is larger. So you try to make him younger for another group of readers? Again I'm wondering why? I thought creating new titles like Ultimate and Marvel Adventures were for that. People want their kids to read about the character they grew up with and not some new age version? Okay so grab those back issues out or lets see Marvel release some tpbs collecting classic stories.

So basically you just want Spidey to go old and die with you. Why? Sounds pretty damn selfish. Shouldn't new generations be able to pick up a main stream Spidey book and see him interacting with the rest of the MU? Ultimate and adventures are great but the main Spider-man, the real Spider-man is in Amazing and hell yes I want my kid to enjoy NEW stories about Spidey and look forward to picking up new books every week. I guess I just don't see the obsession of wantign to see Pete's story end.

Selfish is wanting to keep a character alive forever ruining him in such a process repeatedly just to make a buck. Everything ends; it is a natural process of life. Ignoring this simple fact is asinine and immature.
