Who writes something expecting it to get cancelled? Why would he think it would get cancelled if the whole reason they got an Amazing Spider-Man was the popularity of Amazing Fantasy 15? > > > > Everything since the beginning of the series has been progressing Spider-Man through life. Some will argue at some point you have to stop or the character ages to much. Why? I mean the average age of the comic reader is larger. So you try to make him younger for another group of readers? Again I'm wondering why? I thought creating new titles like Ultimate and Marvel Adventures were for that. People want their kids to read about the character they grew up with and not some new age version? Okay so grab those back issues out or lets see Marvel release some tpbs collecting classic stories. > > > > jwd > > So basically you just want Spidey to go old and die with you. Why? Sounds pretty damn selfish. I never said that. Why do people opposed to the marriage think those of us who like it want him to grow old and die with us? To me is pretty damn selfish for them to do a story that essentially wrecks the history of the character so they can have a single Spider-Man when there's already multiple monthly titles that have a single Spider-Man. In the 20 years that Spidey has been married our time I've gone from turning into a teenager to becoming a man with 2 kids. I'm aging a lot faster than he is. I don't like them regressing the character backwards which is precisely what BND does. jwd | |||||||
