> ... just something that's really bugged me:
> The really strange logic that comes with Norman discovering Pete's tracking device. He now knows that Spider-Man takes his own pictures, and his conclusion is that he uses Peter as a front to sell them? That's ridiculous. The natural and logical progression should be, in my opinion, "Spider-Man takes his own pictures... he must be Peter Parker!"
> It bugged me even more in the last issue when Eddie said something like "all that hate I wasted on Parker and you were taking your own pictures." Seriously? The fact that TWO people came to this same weird conclusion bugs the heck out of me (despite the fact that Eddie was there when Norman said it. Eddie's not stupid). It's akin to people not knowing that Clark Kent is Superman because he has glasses on (even when they both returned from long exiles at the same time with brand spank'n new mullets) or Skeletor not knowing that Prince Adam is just He-Man with a shirt and girly pink tights on. Granted, I excepted stuff like that when I was about 5 years old, but nowadays that's just kind of insulting to my intelligence.
> I'd take the idea that not only do they not know who he is anymore, but due to whatever happened, they now can't find out (because that would at least make some sense), but someone over there (Wacker or Brevoort or somebody) said some weeks back in an interview that it's not out of the realm of possibility that they could learn who he is again, so there goes my theory.
> I just think that going from "Spider-Man takes his own pictures" to "Spider-Man must be Peter Parker, you know, the guy credited with those same pictures" is not be much of a leap in logic. For them to go totally left field with this just seems really odd to me. They could always have used the "Peter as a front" explanation as a way to convince them otherwise, and save Pete's butt, but for that to be the immediate conclusion they come to just seems... dumb.
> Is it just me???
> I hope Anti-Venom will get his own series, because I can't read Spidey anymore after this storyline. It just gets sillier every issue.

Very much agree! At this point, though, my expections for ASM are so low that I just agree to it all, and allow my brain cells to die off one by one.
