To preface: I'm glad this wasn't dealth with in the main books. It isn't another creative team's responsibility to pick up plots from a mini series to an event.

And it was dealt with, in Son of M. How much mileage could we have gotten without really throwing Spider-Man into the huge world of mystical stuff?

And do we really need another "oh no Gwen \:\( " story?

Peter already has the pain of losing a kid in 616. No need to add another to it.

> Was this addressed much in the Spiderman titles? I'm wondering if he had thought bubbles considering the fact that his true heart's desire was apparently not the woman he was with and if he'd settled for her because Gwen died. Did Mary Jane ever find out that she wasn't his first choice in the ideal world?

MJ doesn't even remember House of M happened. Only a few heroes have memories of it (Logan, Spidey, Cage, a few others).
> Do people normally remember to put the hyphen in Spider-man? It's easier to type without it.

Hyphen is correct. Sometimes you'll even catch him making a fourth wall breaking quip out of it.
