| > If the marriage never happened an old continuity problem of Spider-Man gets actuality again. I asked myself that since Norman Osborne returned after the clone story: How could Peter ever accept that Osborne got away with the murder of Gwen Stacy? If the marriage never happened Gwen would have stayed the love of Peter's life. Mary jane did not get the love of his life but after the marriage. So if they never married, he wouldn't have forgotten Gwen that easily. So he would be after Osborne. BND never can explain THIS.|
So your argument is that Peter would be going after Norman more for the deaths of Gwen Stacy and Ben Reilly if he never married than if he did marry. Sorry, but that argument seems ridiculous. Either way, Norman killed people Peter cared about, and either way Peter and Norman would be enemies for life.
