I thought it was ok but not that great. We didn't really learn anything about this Vulture besides that Toomes has nothing to do with him. Toomes heard that the mob or someone made him into a monster but that doesn't mean that is what happened. Why does he eat people? If he is so strong and fast, why is he only eating the weak? If he wants to get back at them, why is only picking off weak underlings?

I have to agree that the Vulture's appearance was way too brief. I believe more time should have been spent fleshing out this character a bit more. Even learning about the fact that Toomes has nothing to do with the new Vulture was something that was pretty much revealed by the creative team in an interview a few weeks back. It's like the only reason he was introduced was to use as a plot device to make the New York citizens hate Spider-Man at the end of the issue.

So everyone in the city will start hating Spider-man because he captured a monster but it interupted a Yankees game? Everything good he has done over the last few days is forgotten? Seems a little too much.

That was kind of lame...I agree.

One of the things about the whole 24/7 thing was how Peter did not check in with anyone. He was gone for 2 months where no one heard from him and he didn't let anyone know he was ok. More importantly he didn't make sure anyone was ok. He didn't bother to find out who took care of the apartment or anything. It was very childish, irresponsible, and selfish of him not to check on anything or anyone. I also am disappointed that he did all of this to not think about Osborn being in charge. It is his fault to a degree and he should feel guilty but hiding from his responsibilities by being childish is very disappointing to see.

He couldn't really call anyone to let them know he was okay, as he was stuck in the Macroverse until he and the FF4 finished their business out there. I'll admit that he could have at least made it known that he was going to be away for quite some time, but there was no way for him to tell how long he was going to be away for. So, it really was out of his hands...as much as he would have liked to call everybody and let them know that he was going to be gone for quite some time, the length of time he would have told those people he was going to be gone would have been untrue in the end, making him seem like a liar. He was better off keeping his mouth shut.

Oh of course he couldn't have told them before he left how long he was gone. But why didn't he call anyone when he got back? He specifically said that since he was gone for 2 months no one would mind not hearing from him for a little while longer at the beginning of 24/7. While there was no way to predict how long he was gone, how can he not check in with everyone first thing when he gets back? I mean he has an elderly aunt who has a history of medical issues, a best friend who's fiancee was a supervillian, a returning friend who had lost both legs in war, a job with Front Line, and Carlie's dad withdrew his victory as mayor. How can he not make sure any of them ok after 2 months of life happening?
