What a fun issue. Nice showdown on a rocket between the Scorpion and Spidey. Loved someone showing the effects of G-Force on the webs.

Where did all these crazy people come from to become the Spider-Slayer Squad or what it wants to be called? Like that Slott hasn't forgotten about Doc-Ock from the first issue by using him in this issue. Liked the cliffhanger in this issue.

The artwork was great by Casselli. Nice to see some flair back in the title after the past year of some overall dissapointing artwork. Hopefully he gets another arc in the upcoming months.

Slott is off to a great start. Feels like he came out of the 70s/80s with this break neck speed of action in each issue along with putting all the supporting characters into interesting places.

Couldn't agree more. Slot's entire run has been vintage Spider-Man through and through. The art has been splendid, the stories, as you say, are fast paced and packed with events, the supporting cast is wonderful, and the villains are larger than life. Also, Slot has Peter's voice down perfectly, and it really does feel like reading a 'classic' Spidey book. I also love how much attention to continuity Slot pays, with nice character moments between Mockingbird, Ben Grimm, and Spidey (with the former two remembering his id from his reveal in New Avengers) to the flashbacks to the early 'Amazing' issues, with Doom and the Chameleon tapping into Spidey's danger sense. You can tell, from the way everything is so enthusiastically handled, that Slot just loves Spidey. Likewise, anybody who loves spidey will have a hard time not enjoying this book right now.
