That image makes me sad. I'd love to read stories about that Peter Parker. The guy who let his life progress. The guy who wasn't a loser. The guy who could get the girl, and be a responsible husband and father.

I'm going to go re-read the Straczynski era...

The funny thing here is that I do think "One More Day"/"One Moment in Time" needs to be addressed and resolved. The fact of Peter Parker having made a deal with Mephisto, which included in its stipulations misery for both Peter and Mary Jane (or something like that), is a major hanging storyline from my point of view. Whether or not the marriage is ever brought back, Peter really should, somehow, get the edge on Mephisto and free himself from the deal.

I suspect this is not Dan Slott's intention.
