Amazing Spider-Man 010

From fourchan:

Marvel may insist otherwise but it seems that if you don't read all the crossovers sequentially this Event has less clarity and story payoff. Maybe not near as bad as Axis but still not that good at this point. Inheritors have clones too? Eep, that can't be good. Amazing art always helps - and this helps some.

I miss Dad and Dan.

I had fun reading it.

The main weakness of the story : In my opinion, this Marvel event is only a guilty pleasure for veteran readers because the pleasure comes from the discovery of the Easter eggs. To really understand the interactions of the characters, it requires a deep knowledge of the Marvel Universe (alternative timelines, clones, the history of Spider-Man, Captain Universe, Captain Britain Corps, 2099, SpOck, Gwen...)

I am not certain that it is possible to enjoy anything in the story without a previous knowledge of the characters (Morlun, Ezekiel, Kaine, Ben Reilly, May Parker, SpOck, ...) Thus, it is not an autonomous storyline.

So : fun but not extraordinary.
Like most Marvel events (Inferno, Acts of Vengeance, Age of Apocalypse, Civil War, Dark Age...).
