Quote:Hopefully this series has a limited life.
It's a trilogy AFAIK.
Quote:All told from Ultimate Jessica Drew's point of view and from what I can tell, it just doesn't seem like her or look like her. Bendis must be rolling in his grave over this one.
No, you're right, she does not seem like the same one in All-New last seen #8-#10 who looks like this: http://superiorspidertalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/ultimates8-2.jpg
. But to be fair, the one in All-New doesn't come across as entertaining or interesting as the one in the Miles Morales book either.
Quote:Other than that, it is more about the Inheritors world. Clones everywhere, tony Stark looking up to the bad guy and other super heroes under their control.
And the villification continues. *sigh* The Futurist 'gets it wrong' again.
Quote:My reaction to the art work was indifferent.
Actually thought it was quite good - especially compared to other stuff out this month. The colors were good too. Interesting (fascist?) Storm uniform on the last page.
Quote:So far this issue pushed off a theory that I had, the father of the Inheritors was Uncle Ben from Universe 000. I thought the mother killed in Superior Spider-Man 33 was Aunt May.
Eep. THAT would not be karmically nice to Peter at all.
Quote:However after this issue I have to change the father to being either the only Peter Parker to never have been bitten by the Spider or the first.... Who knows.
Quote:Glad I "listened" to some advice on buying side issues. Spider-Man 2099 was better and I would like to see more of Lady Spider.
Marginally better at best. Previous 2099 issues were better. These Spider-verse crossovers, jumping right into the side missions, haven't really grabbed my full attention yet. They may have a moment or two, and as such - agreed, Lady Spider was the best of that issue.
I hate doing posts from my IPad.
But it was a post worth reading regardless.
