I just have to say...wow. I was originally only going to get these two issues, as I knew it involved Spidey revealing his ID to JJJ, even though he doesn't run the Bugle anymore, but it actually turned out much better than I expected! It seems to be working out fine so far, a great alliance, and I'm eager to see where it goes. Even though I've only been reading possible-2099-related Marvel books for awhile now, I'll keep getting this one anyway. And in #297, after JJJ hits Agent Mintz with his car, and then welcomed Spidey into his car, did anyone catch what felt like a kind of Terminator movie, "Come with me if you want to live,"-type vibe?

Looking forward to #298!

I wholeheartedly agree. The current direction should remain status quo for good in terms of not being retconned. Peters job at the Bugle, Jonahs journalistic skills, Jonah knowing Peter is Spidey, its all good stuff and yet its evolution not revolution. I don't think it would hold any future stories back. If anything its a rich and sustainable status quo.

Bravo.
