Quote:And it not only contradicts the sequence of events, but also various important details of the stories it purports to retell (e.g. at her first meeting with Peter, Mary Jane is shown not wearing her iconic black top and pants, but a blue dress). Loeb described the series as his love-letter to Gwen Stacy, and it shows in various attempts to make Gwen and Peter out to be closer than they actually were at that point in their saga. This kiss with a bare-chested Peter Parker was apparently meant to imply that the two were starting to have sex at the time (while of course as things stand in the real continuity (after Sins Past) Peter and Gwen never had sex. But the differences from the main continuity are big enough to rate this story as non-canonic.
I guess this is kind of a lurid question but when did Peter first sleep with Mary Jane?
I'm not the biggest Spider-Man fan but I always assumed it was right after he said goodbye to the Gwen clone in ASM #149.
Reverend Meteor (I didn't think he had slept with Gwen either. But I was pretty sure he slept with Felicia)
