Reply Subj: What Was The Worst Thing That Norman Osborn Has Ever Done? Most Would Probably Say Gwen Stacy's Death, But Actually I Would Go With

The time that he kidnapped Flash Thompson (Luring him in under false pretenses.) and got him drunk when he was overcoming his alcoholism. He then had him put behind the wheel of an Osborn truck, framed him for driving drunk and put him into a coma. Man, THAT was just cold and worse than Gwen's Death! Also, him abducting his OWN GRANDSON and turning him into a Carnage ranks up there as well! If it was actually established that Norman actually DID kill Peter and MJ's unborn baby, that would rank as number two (I still say that getting Flash drunk was the worst!). What do you guys think? I actually like Norman more as an irredeemable flat-out-evil character.

He did completely ruin Ben Urich's career for a time, because of Ben's book "Dynasty of Evil." SO the readers of New York lost confidence in one of the best Newsmen in the city, and also lead to him having his hands tied behind his back when investigating stories. Who knows what important stories couldn't be covered. Lives may have been lost. Bad men's deeds never brought to the light, only gaining more and more influence.

He abandoned his son, who was dealing with a pretty severe drug addiction, to screw off to Europe for a while and plot revenge. Kind of a dick move.

He was reconnected to have given Dr. Octopus's ex-girlfriend AIDS, pretty messed up... which also hurt the impact of the classic Spider-Man Unlimited #3, the true crime.

The baby thing is tough to beat.

Gwen's death pushed Pete into the arms of his true love MJ, so it was actually a favor if you look at the big picture. Of course, it is negated anyway since Pete killed her, not Norman (don't believe me? there is a snap sound effect next to Gwen's neck when Peter webs her),. Yes the kidnapping was necessary for it to happen, but...
