Given all the clues that we've already got, the only classic character that would make an ideal prime suspect is Harry Osborn but, frankly, if it is him, what a disappointment it would be. I am clueless... :-I

There is another possibility: Kindred made everyone forget him and, thus, he is somebody that, we, the readers, don't know.

Apparently, Stromm & Mysterio had forgotten their previous encounters with Kindred.

Kindred reminds me Carrion, Macendale+Demogoblin, Scrier(s) & Judas Traveller, Sin-Eater but it is unlikely that any of them are involved...
