I think OMD will be addressed, but I would not count on the marriage being restored just yet. That will only happen when Quesada and Brevoort and some of the other bootlickers are vamoose.

Well I am not surprised that Mephisto was used to revert Allegedly Superior Spiderman back to being Doc Ock.

Mephisto has gone from being the lying schemer that used to fight the Silver Surfer in direct combat, a being who literally battled Galactus (Silver Surfer graphic novel), the being who tried to manipulate Thanos when he first built the infinity gauntlet, to just a Deus Ex Machina/Mary Sue.

Now he's just the go to character for fixing characters that are wrecked or written into a corner.

Similar to when the heroes "perished" against Onslaught only to have Franklin Richards restore them all and reset them back to default as it were and restored the original Tony Stark to life in the Heroes Reborn universe and then have them return a year later.

But U.S. trademark law states trademarks must be used once every 10 years or else file the paperwork and pay the fee to renew it. So we have some time for them to trot out some retread or reprint of Allegedly Superior Spiderman, or else make an "all new" character with that name.

Stan Lee as I recall reversed the deal in the newspaper strip and restored the marriage, stating the deal was a bad dream that Peter had.

Yet the comic readers are still stuck in it.
