    Spider-Man:
Love the new head sculpts!!! Love the new body sculpt they're using except one thing... I'd have kept the waste swivel instead of the torso swivel on Spidey. Breaking the "red webs" down the chest and abdomen of Spidey, aesthetically, looks weird. I feel that the pizza Spidey had it right. I do wish we had a MORE retro look on the Spiders on the back and chest... I kinda hope we get some repaints that really bring us the Romita or Ditko spiders... I'd put down more cash for those. For example, the Raft Spidey had a GREAT McFarlane spider on the chest.

I am just glad it isn't the usual way-too-skinny Spider-Man sculpt. Always looks weird to me.

    Peter Parker:
The glasses, man... I know what they were going for... very Ditko. Maybe some light blue for a shine might have helped... but maybe keeping them "clear" or no lenses may have been a better move. Love the split Spidey/Peter head... best implementation of that yet!

Completely agree

    Gwen:
Head swapping Gwen and MJ just creeps me out. I wish they had just given us a dedicated Gwen and later a dedicated MJ. They could have given MJ the classic Romita first appearance look with two head sculpts... classic Romita MJ and maybe a more modern one that wasn't a repaint. I'm sure this was a bean-counter decision and they did the best they could, but... it is what it is.

I agree the classic ROmita would be preferable, but I am just glad MJ is getting a figure. Given the animated series packaging style(and how lame she is) why make Gwen the lead?

Green Goblin / Electro / Mysterio / Kingpin:
They all look pretty classic. Very solid representations of the characters. It does make me wonder what kind of Doc Ock we'll see.

My one complaint... and it really is tiny... I with the Green Goblin also came with a Harry Head.

NEXT WAVE: Who's your six / special issues in the next wave?

-I too would like a Hobgoblin... especially if they could really capture the 80s vibe, which given the concept might be a long shot.

-Ben Urich - What? He does frequently work at the Bugle with Peter. Maybe more of an special Issue character.

- Shocker

- Black Cat

- Kaine - I can't even explain this one. I just think it would look cool. Okay... I guess I CAN explain, it just isn't a very good explanation.

- Doctor Octopus.

SPecial issue

Well, I already admitted Ben Urich probably fits here, but

-I always kind of wanted a Born Again style Daredevil, you know, puffy coat and all. I mean, Daredevil seems to always be combined with
Spider-man

-Molten Man
