I disagree on Skroce lol. But, hey, nothing wrong with differing opinions.

When Erik Larsen was on ASM, I remember disliking him. I wasn't a huge fan of MacFarlane, and Larsen seemed like a step further away from the House Style. However, a few years after his run, I found I had great nostalgia for the books. There was something about his and Michelinie's run, like you say, fun, energy, and insanity.

While I love UTOSM, it's not really because of Olliffe's work. Frenz had a great ability to mimic classic Marvel but Olliffe seemed like "Frenz-light" and wasn't nearly as dynamic.

I've read some of the Luke Ross comics recently and I agree, he had a great feel for the character.
