if it does really well on the streaming service for viewing, would they put it to the big screen then?

The Snyder cut is a fan-interest version of a film which has already underperformed at the box office once.

It's a film that Warners believe they've already released the best version of.

It's a FOUR HOUR LONG dark, grim, joyless piece of cinema with no heart to it. As such, I think it's going to be a difficult watch even for fans of the Snyderverse. 'Normies' stand practically no chance with it.

It's a film they had no interest in completing or releasing in any form.

AND...it will already be available to watch on streaming.

Warners know that given the length, tone and subject matter of the film, a cinema release isn't a viable option. They're not going to get anyone but hardened fans (And the really curious) through the doors, and repeated viewings will be negligible. Very few are going to want to sit through it twice.

If they thought it would have done well in theatres, they'd have given it a theatrical release. But clearly, they don't.

They've bowed to public pressure for a release, but now they're more than happy to throw it to HBO to get it to anyone interested in seeing it, and making their money back on it.

Just wonder if it could be better then the mess of a movie originally got!
