Quote: Just wonder if it could be better then the mess of a movie originally got!The evidence is against it. Man of Steel was a mess. Batman vs Superman was a mess. Justice League was a mess because Whedon had to use much of what Snyder had already filmed. He was trying to make a silk purse from a sow's ear, and that was always doomed to failure. If Whedon had been allowed to abandon everything and start from scratch - Brand new story, new script, different tone and style - that would have been better. But it wouldn't have been a good look for Warners, and would have been far too expensive to have even been given serious consideration. Justice League producer Charles Rovin has gone on record saying that 80-85% of the released version was Snyder's. So if you think that Justice League was a mess, a BIG proportion of the blame must land with Snyder's original vision of the film. How bad would it have been if he'd been allowed to finish it? We're about to find out. | |||||||
