Possibly, I can't remember any specific example of this other than that lovely tease back in John Byrne's Superman #18 where he thinks his father, Jor-el, might have subliminally given him a formula to negate Kryptonite poisoning... That issue is a bit of a forgotten classic today, Byrne and Mike Mignola worked extremely well together and Mignola was superb in creating an atmosphere for Superman's return to Krypton. You don't see fine artists like he, Tom Mandrake, and Gene Colan these days sadly...


The new 52 nanite suite was to give him protection against those, didn;t it?
