At one point, Aaron said he wanted the story to be similar to Game of Thrones. Well, in GOT, Martin developed dozens of intriguing characters from all sides. Aaron hasn't done that here for the Ten Realms, and so it's hard to care.

If he wanted to do that he should have taken one or two issues to try and develop some of the other races or characters more. Instead, the Dark Elves, Fire Demons, Shi'ar gods, etc are pretty much one-dimensional.

Well, it looks like the "War of Realms" storyline will end with the "Death of Thor" storyline, at least I hope so, so Aaron only has half a dozen more issues at most to wrap it up.

Really? I figured he had at least another year to go. If this is true then a deus ex machine will be required. Of course, then that means Aaron wasted time on side stories like the Shi'ar gods or War Thor that did not move the main plot forward.

I've suspected and stated before that they may resolve this whole thing with the real THOR and Jane by doing a hammer switch.

Jane gets the Ultimate THOR's hammer and THOR regains Mjolnir.
