Thor placed his hand on Jane's shoulder and told her to go do something she didn't want to do. Anyone that's ever been in a relationship knows how that kind of conversation goes with a significant other.

She was there trying to get allies for the war and Thor was telling her to go home and be sick. She's not in the mood to be told what's best for her. She's frustrated enough to cheat and she's frustrated enough to threaten.

Thor places a hand gently on her arm and makes a suggestion, only to be threatened with getting his one remaining hand removed!

What kind of relationships have you been in where that level of hostility is instantly offered and you think that's normal?

In trying to build a strong, feminist female role model Aaron has instead created a nasty, spiteful piece of trash which ironically, deftly undoes his dubious ambitions.
