Yeah, at least its not some Jane-possessed version of Mjolnir like that terrifying rumor.   At this point, I dont want old Mjolnir back, that means that it accepted him back, and I dont want its acceptance, since it accepted Jane.   And yes, I sound like some spurned old lover.  Its sad.
It's not sad, Mjolnir was a integral part of the Thor mytho's and the hammer was as famous as it's owner. Recently Marvel has taken their version of Thor and Mjolnir in a direction that deviates from original and even though Marvel doesn't stick with the myth they should hold somethings dear. Thor has had that hammer since his inception from Marvel and after 50 plus years decide that the hammer is sentient and can leave like a fickle lover when it suits the writer's twisted purpose leaves long term fans very upset. Marvel goes one step further and add insult to injury by taking the title character and cut off his arm, his hair, strip him of his name (clothes as well) and then just to kick sand in his face  they take the supporting cast and drag them through the mud then at the end of the day say to the fans OK now that Thor guy has been thoroughly brought down a peg or two he can now have his name back along with his fickle hammer and as a consolation prize to his fans we'll throw in new shiny gold arm to match Mjolnir's new shiny new gold look (if that is even Mjolnir). Fans have every right to not accept this hot stinking pile of poo. I would not even want Mjolnir back is it can just run off and do whatever, dogs are more loyal than that. I can stand the direction that Marvel has taken Thor, Mjolnir, Odin, Asgard the whole mytho's is something I don't even recognize anymore and I'm not sure if a new writer can fix what Aaron has done.
