Take it as you want with your opinion.

I did.

But there was nothing character defining in this arc, power showings aside.

Now your opinion right?

Thor is kind of a jerk at different times. And Cates himself even said his Thor is an a-hole.

What does that have to do with the story you're complaining about?

Hardly the noble warrior dynamic you are trying to spin here. There have been numerous comics grappling with Galactus over the years. Some good, some not so much but he is meant to be a complex character.

Why didn't Thor just take Galactus out in the beginning then if he wasn't a noble warrior that was asked for assistance?

Why even have the story in the first place if you solve universal threats that fast? Why not kill Galactus long before that point? Why make it so easy?

Because he didn't know the story of the Black Winter and G's connection until the end of the story perhaps?

There was nothing in here, as a Thor fan, that made me want to stand up and be happy. Other than the build up of Thor against a great powerful threat, but it was not handled well.

That's you. I'm happy about it. We can agree to disagree here. You don't like Cates then stop buying the book is my suggestion to you going forward my friend.

You can disagree, but other than the power showings, there was nothing here. Thor is a bit of a jerk but that has been sorto f a standard for many writers in recent years.

Then stop buying the Jerk son of Odin books. Nobody is holding a gun to your head here.
