I am a fan of Galactus, I am a fan of Thor. Odin I can take or leave. He is critical to the Thor mythos but I never found him interesting outside of a background character. He seems to rarely be used as a wise king.

If this sort of thing would have happened to Thor or Odin with their powers by Galactus or whomever it would cause a massive uproar here. And most of you would be royally pissed off.

I would not have been ok with that either. I think it is a waste of potential and the story up until that point.

Enjoy away, but I think I am done with Cates. I should have been after Thanos wins.

Eh I don't think you are. Give it a few more issue.

After all you did say you are a Thor fan right? Sort of premature to stop reading after the first arc of only six issues.

Big fan, but my main issue with Aaron at the end was his consistently bad depiction of Thor. I just see the same here, it is just in the opposite way. And I really cannot deal with it anymore.

Add that to I do know Cates style. I read Thanos, Space GR and SS stuff. I have not really enjoyed much of it.

The scale he is going for is good, the character are not.

Especially when Cates has said this isn't regular Mjolnir, it's magic has changed.

Thats great, I have little regard for the man's work through this point. At least with Aaron I did enjoy his Ghost Rider run and God of Thunder runs before he lost his damn mind.

Cates lost it in his first arc.
