Another “ Journey into Mystery” type story which relates back to 1962. Also, this is the first part of this “Prey” storyline, which Cates has said is a horror story, or Thorror story \:\-\) .
Some months ago I saw a panel drawn by Nic Klein relating to this future arc and it had a dragon/reptile face drawn on it.
Is this the actual enemy that is stalking Thor as “ prey”?
    This sounds intriguing.

I think Cates is going to tie Blake into one of his larger storylines (e.g. Thanos wins), ignoring the Oeming explanation. So I'm not excited about Cates' no-rules writing style in handling any aspect of Thor's origin.

I think Thor as a character/concept is on his last leg. All we have left is waiting for the next over-the-top feat.

This is what I picture when Cates is hammering out a storyline idea at his desk.
