....... if we as Thor fans can’t support our boy when he’s shown in a very positive light then, what’s the point?

...no one can blame me for raising my eyebrow. First off the fight was too short and way too one sided. Thor was clearly amped and primed for battle but we didn't get a battle, just a good ol fashioned ass whooping at Galactus expense. I would've loved if Thor had won a epic fight. Instead we got a very rushed unsatisfactorily finish. I WANTED TO SEE A FIGHT!!! That was not a fight, that was a petulant child being taken out to the woodshed.
I complained rightfully so about the previous writer who seemed to have utter disdain for the character. Cates is without a doubt an improvement. That being said, I still want to see a bit character and plot development. I'm grateful to have a writer who actually seems to like the character but don't think I turned my back as a fan just because Cates initial story fell short of my expectations. I will say a part of me did feel good seeing Thor once again kicking ass and taking names
