Another “ Journey into Mystery” type story which relates back to 1962. Also, this is the first part of this “Prey” storyline, which Cates has said is a horror story, or Thorror story \:\-\) .
Some months ago I saw a panel drawn by Nic Klein relating to this future arc and it had a dragon/reptile face drawn on it.
Is this the actual enemy that is stalking Thor as “ prey”?
This sounds intriguing.

If Cates wants to do horror then Blake is kind of perfect for that. A big part of horror is the protagonist being in constant danger and often trying to flee and that is... not Thor. We all know that Thor can take a hit and he doesn’t scare easily. Even if Thor needs to retreat when he’s outmatched, there’s rarely any tension as Thor will typically get away with ease via flight or portal. Blake can’t do those things. Blake is at a disadvantage in every fight he’s in. Blake has trouble walking let alone fleeing for his life. Blake is a horror movie character, Thor is a horror movie breaker.
