Anyone know what was the glove Thanos was wearing on his left hand is all about? Clearly it has some significance

At first I thought it was something to do with Gorr but I’m thinking it might be tied into Knull somehow.

Also the story reads like Thor detonated Galactus using ... "the energy of a hundred thousand devoured worlds" referring to the lightning strike that Thor brought down. If Thor had already taken the PC from Galactus, what was there to detonate in Galactus body?

I’d liken it to an atomic bomb with the fuse removed, only greater. Galactus is such a unique being that even his inert body still possesses tremendous potential. Like his DNA for example. The energy might’ve gone but the matter was still very much there.

Why did Thor even care if the BW took a dead Galactus? Was Thor assuming the BW would eventually come after his universe and therefore decided to destroy it?

Galactus could probably be reanimated. Or turned into something else, or his DNA exploited etc. Or maybe even used as a trophy. Thor did not want to allow for any of that.

I am assuming you are being funny here as that is exactly what Thor did -make Glactus helmet a Trophy/Beware of Dog sign.
Although you could be right about the re-animation aspect. We all know Galactus will be back. I suspect his "death" was all part of a plan either he or he and/or Galactus planned.

I am not sure what Thor would fear or be concerned in seeing his end as since he was a youth he knew via the prophecies of Ragnarock how he would die...not to mention facing death on a fairly regular basis. I assume we are completely out of the Ragnarock cycle at this point.

Anyone else want Heimdall back in his role - exerting the same powers as Sif though. MUST Thor writers have a woman do the role of a man "better" than he did instead of just doing hers superbly?

Ha...what IS it with Thanos and gloves?!
