Previous Post If you've been reading Immortal Hulk, this is a great addition to the run. Thor makes a cameo in which he and Jen lift weights together. It's pretty funny, but they also have a pretty deep conversation about immortality. The whole scene lasts only a few pages, but Al Ewing has a knack for fitting a whole lot of character development and depth into a such a small space. The pairing of Thor and She-Hulk is one of the only valuable contributions Jason Aaron has made to Thor. This interaction between the two, along with their exchange in the Empyre aftermath, has me thinking Marvel will do more with this. I'm hoping a competent writer will explore their relationship some more. A writer like Al ^$&*#ing Ewing?!?! The guy has been on fire since Loki: Agent of Asgard. I really want to see him writing Thor some day.

The Thor and She-hulk pairing by Aaron is just one of the many bad ideas by the writer. I would be ok with it if Jen doesn't talk like the way she does. As She-Hulk, she's obviously mentally impaired. In some jurisdictions, if one has sexual intercourse with a mentally incapacitated person, he or she is guilty of Rape in the Second Degree. A mentally incapacitated person is incapable of giving consent to sex.

As for the scene in Immortal She-Hulk, it didn't seem like they were going for more than just two friends working out. She-hulk talked to Thor regarding immortality, a subject that is obviously bothering her. It's only logical because Thor is one of the few Avengers who is considered "immortal". But there was nothing intimate about it.

But I did enjoy Thor telling Jen that he recently killed Galactus....yeah, that was awesome.
