Quote:Classical beauty is objective.
Actually it's not. You can see how standards of beauty have changed across different cultures and eras here:
Also just look at how Wonder Woman was drawn in the 1940s and compare it to how she appears now. Her body type is very different. Her chest was much smaller, her thighs thicker, and she was more fleshy and less muscular. She was considered very beautiful then and now, but to pretend she looks the same is disingenuous.
Quote:There is nothing covert about it. Marvel only employs those with Progressive politics who vocally virtue signal at every opportunity on social media.
Virtue signaling is a derogatory term by the right to discredit people they disagree with, but it's problematic on the face of it because it implies "virtue signaling" is inauthentic and is done only by someone to make himself/herself look good. While that could possibly be the case, it could just as well be that the person is completely sincere and authentic. You would only know the difference if you knew this person really, really well or could read their minds. Since this is applied to people you don’t know personally at all and since you are not a telepath, the central conceit of the insult is obvious.
Quote:Exactly, they are injecting their Marxist ideology into the comics
The argument is desperate when you have to create strawmen to characterize those you oppose.
Quote:Name one conservative writer or artist working at Marvel or DC or Image?
Billy Tucci. Frank Miller is also pretty conservative even though he is anti-Trump. And it's all relative. You are a hardline conservative so moderates look liberal to you, liberals look like Marxists, and real Marxist are beyond your comprehension. The likes of both Clintons and Obama would be considered right of center in most European countries, and Obama’s Affordable Care Act was an idea proposed by conservatives and only opposed by them when Obama became a supporter.
