Well... Thor is connected to ancient Scandanavia.

According to experts, women actually looked far more masculine then,  This is determined by the study of skull shape.  They had more pronounced brows and jawlines than their male counterparts.

Ancient Scandinavian women had more pronounced brows and jawlines than their males counterparts?

The point still remains that a theoretically nostalgic Thor would still find a more masculine woman appealing, since teh genders were less distinguishable in Scandanavia in the age of Vikings.
